TOMMY AND LINDA RALEY WBFI MISSION DIRECTOR

Tommy and Linda Raley were both saved as teenagers through the ministry of the Trentman Avenue Baptist Church in Ft. Worth, Texas. They were teenage sweethearts who grew up in the church together. Tommy is a 1962 graduate of the Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington, Texas. He and Linda worked with the youth at Trentman Ave. for several years, the last two as a full time staff member. In 1969 they felt the call of God to the mission field and were approved by the World Baptist Fellowship in 1970. After completing deputation and language school Tommy, Linda and their four sons arrived on the field in Colombia in August of 1972. Due to the illness of two of their sons they were forced to return to the States at the end of 1976 and in February of 1977 Tommy was called as pastor of the First Baptist Church in Pleasanton, Kansas. After a successful five year ministry in Kansas, the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas called him as pastor. In 1984 they returned to the mission field of Mexico where they worked until the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Committee asked Tommy to accept the position as Mission Director. Tommy and Linda have served in this ministry since 1990. Linda also serves as Financial Secretary of the Mission. As Director of the Mission Agency, Tommy spends a great deal of time in mission conferences and other special mission emphasis services in churches while Linda oversees the work in the office. They are happy in this present ministry which gives them the opportunity to serve the missionary families around the world as well as the supporting churches. Their home church is the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. BIRTHDAYS Tommy 6-21 Linda 5-23 ANNIVERSARY June 9, 1961

DAVE AND BETTY SCHEMBERA WBFI ASSISTANT MISSION DIRECTOR

Dave and Betty were approved as missionaries to Ecuador by the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Agency in 1974. In May, 2000 Dave became Assistant Mission Director for the Mission Agency. Dave was saved in Whitewater, Kansas in 1965. Betty was eight years old when she was saved at the First Baptist Church of Augusta, Kansas. Dave is a 1974 graduate of Arlington Baptist College. The Schemberas were married in Whitewater, Kansas in 1965. Their sending church is the Messiah Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas They served the Lord for many years in Ecuador establishing churches and teaching in Bible Institutes. In February 2000, Dave was asked by the Mission Committee to consider leaving Ecuador and assuming the position of Assistant Mission Director. Dave spends much time teaching new missionaries and helping the new missionaries to expedite the deputation time. He also serves other missionaries in many areas as well as the local churches. He is also teaching mission and Bible courses at the Arlington Baptist College. They have two children - Kristi and Brian and three grandchildren, Cristina, Megan and Dillon Chase. BILL AND MARY HORTON MISSIONARIES TO BRAZIL

Bill and Mary Horton were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Brazil in July, 1972. Bill was saved at the age of fourteen, under the ministry of W. L. Bryant at the Trentman Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas. He is a 1972 graduate of Arlington Baptist Schools. Mary was eleven years old when her dad led her to the Lord at Rosen Heights Baptist Church of Fort Worth. It was at Rosen Heights that Bill and Mary were married in 1963. Bill and Mary's home church is the Pleasantview Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas, formerly Trentman Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Worth. The Hortons have three children - Tanya, John and Kyron. John and Kyron and their families are also missionaries to Brazil. BIRTHDAYS Bill 12-6 Mary 8-30 ANNIVERSARY 3-29-63

JERRY AND ATALIAS LANTZ MISSIONARIES TO BRAZIL

Jerry was approved as a World Baptist Fellowship missionary to Brazil in July, 1983. He was saved in March of 1975 in his dorm room. Jerry is a 1975 graduate of Arlington Baptist College. His sending church is the Crossroads Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas. Jerry and Atalias were married in Brazil August 17, 2002. BIRTHDAYS Jerry 8-1 Atalias 5-3 ANNIVERSARY 8-17-02

PHIL AND DEBI HARRIS MISIONARIES TO BRAZIL

Phil and Debi Harris were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries in July, 1975. They serve in the country of Brazil. Phil was saved in June, 1957, at the age of seven. Debi was led to Christ by her Sunday School teacher in 1964. Phil graduated from Arlington Baptist College in 1973. He and Debi were married in 1970 in Fort Worth, Texas. Temple Baptist Church of Fort Worth is their sending church. Phil and Debi have two children - Dawn and Aaron. BIRTHDAYS Phil 5-17 Debi 1-15 ANNIVERSARY 2-16-70

RICK AND JACKIE WASHBURN MISSIONARIES TO COLOMBIA

Rick and Jackie were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Colombia in 1975. Rick was saved at Vandalia Baptist Temple of Vandalia, Ohio in 1968 and Jackie was saved when she was seven years old. They were married at the Vandalia Baptist Temple in 1969 and Rick graduated from Arlington Baptist College in 1975. Their sending church is also the Vandalia Baptist Temple. They have four children - Anita, Ella, Crystal and Rick, Jr. BIRTHDAYS Rick 7-24 Jackie 12-8 ANNIVERSARY 7-3-69

NORMAN AND GLORIA HIGGINS MISSIONARIES TO MEXICO

The World Baptist Fellowship Mission Committee approved Norman and Gloria as missionaries to Mexico in July, 1972. Norman was saved in 1967. Gloria was saved at the Bible Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas in 1967. Norman graduated from Arlington Baptist College in May 1972. He and Gloria were married in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1960. Their sending church is the Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida. They have three children - Danny, David and Christy. BIRTHDAYS Norman 8-17 Gloria 8-4 ANNIVERSARY 12-12-60

BARBARA WIMM MISSIONARY TO MEXICO RETIRED

In 1969, Ralph and Barbara Wimm were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Mexico. Bro. Ralph went home to be with the Lord in November of 1992 after many years of labor and much illness. In 1994 Barbara returned to Mexico to continue the work they had begun. She returned to the US to live in 2001. She continues to help and support the work with the Mayo Indians. Barbara was saved at the age of eighteen under the preaching of Bro. Gerald Fleming. She is a 1969 graduate of the Bible Baptist Seminary. Her sending church is the Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Barbara has three children - Lisa, Randy and Melinda. ARZA AND RUTH BROWN MISSIONARIES TO HAWAII

Arza and Ruth were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Hawaii in August, 1964. Both their hearts were touched for this mission field during a slide presentation of Hawaii in 1959. Arza was saved at the age of eight and grew up attending the Massillon Baptist Temple of Massillon, Ohio, which is also the Brown's sending church. Ruth was saved in a country church also at the age of 8. She married Arza in July of 1961. They have three children - Ruth Diane, Richard and Mark. They first worked on the island of Kauai and are now working on the island of Maui. BIRTHDAYS Arza 8-30 Ruth 7-2 ANNIVERSARY 7-15
